Bei der Bearbeitung des Ortsfamilienbuchs (OFB) habe ich die Auswärtigen akribisch zu erfasst. Und nicht nur zugezogene, sondern auch weggezogene, sofern die Quellen diese Information preisgeben. Diese zweite Information ist für in anderen Orten forschende sogar noch wertvoller.

Hier sind zwei Listen zu finden:

1. Nach Nachnamen sortiert. Dies bietet sich an, wenn jemand einen Namen hat, aber nicht weiß wohin er verzogen war?

2. Nach Ortschaften sortiert. Dies bietet sich an, wenn jemand wissen möchte welche Personen von Großheppach kamen, nach dort zogen oder dort eine Zeitlang lebten. Oder dort auch lediglich die Hochzeit stattfand.

When editing the Local Family Book (OFB), I precisely recorded people from outside the area. Not just those who moved here, but also those who moved away, as long as the sources provide this information. This second piece of information is even more valuable for researchers in other places.

Here are two lists:

1. Sorted by surename. This is useful if someone has a name but doesn’t know where they moved to.

2. Sorted by town. This is useful if someone wants to know which people came from Grossheppach, moved there, or lived there for a while. Or even if their wedding simply took place there.
