From Germany to South America

Here I am not really far up to now. O.k. I have found some contacts to family members in South America, but the origins are obscure. And I must say, I have here the biggest language issues.

Most of the current Callenius family members of South America are living in Argentina. How and from where the families entered the country is for me not clear yet. One indication is Carlos Gustavo Ernesto Francisco Callenius, son of Gustavo Callenius and Thea Holznagel. He entered the country 1958 to Riol. According to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Immigration Cards, 1900-1965 he is born on 31.07.1924 in Baden/Germany. According to New York Passenger and Crew Lists, 1909, 1925-1957 he is also born 1924, but in Argentinina. But by the way, these places of born, mentioned in these immigration documents, are often not really sharp.

And if or how this Carlos Gustavo Ernesto and Gustavo Callenius are related to the current  in South America living people, is totally open. I have detected many Family members, mostly via social networs. If and how they are related to each other is also not clear for me. Here I hope on the help of those they are living in South America.
